We hosted a Telegram Community Q&A with LABS Group who recently announced the integration of Chainlink VRF to support the raffle system for the LABS WIN Platform. Read more about the integration here.

Joining us today from the LABS Group team, we have Leo Zheza, CTO of LABS Group, and Jake, CEO of Marketing Manager.
Can you introduce little about yourself and tell us about your background?

I have been working in digital marketing for quite some time now, more on the FMCG, and agency side. I got this amazing opportunity from LABS and decided to join the blockchain industry earlier this year.
I find the industry fascinating. It changes the way how people interact with each other. It’s opening new doors and available to every human being.

My name is Leonidha Zhezha, born in Albania and raised in Greece. Being a permanent resident into the United States for the last 7 years. I’m CTO of LABS Group and I’ve been since a young age involved with computers in the beginning you know destroying and trying to fix but mostly destroying and growing more I got into to development.
I’ve first heard about cryptos and BTC since it was around 300$ when I was back in Greece with some friends and since 2017 I’ve been all-in into the blockchain space.

Let’s hop on to the first question then:
Could you tell us about your project the LABS WIN Platform, how does it work, and a little bit about LABS Group?

Sure thing! LABS Group is a digital investment platform that provides access to fractionalized property ownership and enables the continuous trading of real estate assets-backed tokenized shares on a regulated security exchange.
We use blockchain technology and smart contracts to ensure complete transparency over a borderless ecosystem where property developers and investors can interact seamlessly and with unprecedented efficiency. So that people could invest in real estate projects in a fraction of its price point. Making real estate investment available for everyone.
LABS WIN platform is an all in one raffle winning system that will enable all LABS holders to purchase “tickets” in order to win LABS jackpot prizes.
Most importantly, we are partnering with Chainlink to integrate our WIN Platform. To automatically generate numbers for the drawing platform, we need access to a secure random number generator (RNG) that any user could independently audit.

Love the idea of giving more opportunity to the general mass to get involved in real estate investing via a fraction of its price point as we know real estate investing can cost a lot just to even get started with.

LABS has been focusing on digital Real Estate investment. The WIN Platform is an innovative and revolutionary idea to give back to the LABS supporters. With just $5 USD worth of LABS, participants can enter the raffle and try their luck.
The payoff of the winning ticket varies each day. Each sold ticket increases the prize pool. When a prize pool isn’t won, the next round’s prize pool will be accumulated from the previous round; the longer it’s been since someone has won the jackpot, the larger the prize pool will be.

Great to see the low barrier to entry so more people can participate! I’m sure many will get excited as the prize pool increases.
On such platform where fairness is considerably one of the most important aspect, why did you choose to integrate Chainlink VRF?

There are some great features of the Chainlink VRF that makes it important on the blockchain.
Some of them in my opinion are the following:
1. It regulates the process of Random Number Generation for the smart contracts.
2. Produces honest randomness for the game outcome.
3. Consuming smart contracts get all the random number results after they are verified.
4. Oracles cannot manipulate the result generated.
5. Providing users the integrity of the game along with the cryptographic proof, which builds a trust level.
6. VRF does not allow the malicious users and the node operators to alter and tamper with the randomness results.
I don’t believe there is another project that can offer such an amazing feature that fits perfectly for our Win platform.

I’m glad to hear the various reasons as to why you chose to integrate Chainlink VRF as Chainlink VRF aims to create the highest standard for RNG for smart contract.
How are you exactly using Chainlink VRF on your platform?

As the VRF stands for Verifiable Random Function you are easily able to understand from the name the functionality.
We decided to utilize this feature into our Win platform, a lottery game platform where we are randomly generating the winning numbers. Every 12 hours we are given the opportunity to win a big price.

Now that we’ve understood how the WIN Platform works and how Chainlink VRF provides the rng for it, I’d like to learn more about the overall project; What role does WIN Platform play in the bigger picture of LABS real estate investing platform?

Whoa — that’s a great question. The WIN platform is part of our ecosystem to create more utilities to our LABS token. While they could invest in real estate with a lower entry barrier, why not winning extra bonuses and rewards with WIN? It is also a perfect starting point for members to start their blockchain investment journey.

LABS has great plans coming up.
This year, we have launched our crowdfunding platform with fun real estate projects — Kunang Kunang Glamping Resort near Bali, Indonesia, and Singapore Arena Esports Hotel.
